What is shiroiusagi?

SHIROIUSAGI is about a rabbit inhabiting a world full of various strange creatures. It all started back in middle school, when Shiroiusagi was just a bunny head with detachable limbs. I, myself, having an desire to own a pet rabbit, and also being born under the year of the rabbit had a huge influence in my obsession of rabbits. Being uncomfortable with how Shiroiusagi looked before, I kept on drawing. Shiroiusagi went through a multitude of styles up until my first year in college. That was when I've finally found a style that I'm most comfortable with. One day, I was really stress from college coursework, in which I dropped off my work and sketched and ended up with a complete drawing of Kinpi. While inspired by the new character, Kinpi, I drew many completed works of Kinpi interacting with Shiroiusagi. My friends, family and instructors liked my works and encouraged me that I could do something with them. So it's my goal to make it happen!

Characters

  • Shiroi

This white rabbit is very adventurous. He enjoys experimenting with things all around him. The Pipis usually follow Shiroi around like a parental figure. Shiroi enjoys the standard veggies of rabbits, but has a softspot for Shrimp Tempura!

  • Siera

This shy ram enjoys tagging along with Shiroi when she isn't busy tending her sunflower fields. Adventuring with Shiroi helps her overcome her fears.

  • Kinpi

These cute and simple birds are the most abundant creatures around. They're beakless, nor do they have legs, which makes them eat in a very unique way. They cannot fly due to the lack of wings and tail feathers, which enables them to fall slowly. They can smell and sense things with their antennas.

  • Niumi

These fishes have the ability to fly in the sky, and swim in the water. They mostly travel in schools within the jet streams in the sky, and water currents of the ocean. When seen at a distance, these schools of fishes look like a rainbow.
